Begra Mk III sports racer - s/n 3-002
George Avent bought #3-002 in 1962. He was SE Division runner-up 1962 &
1965 & Division champion 1963-64. Avent bought the car without an engine and put in
a Fiat 750 TC from Team Roosevelt
For the 1964 Riverside runoff he put in Fiat 850 TC but had engine problems.

The car was sold to someone near Lincolnton NC in 1967 and after an estate sale
it ended up in a junkyard in Shelby NC. Harry Puckett bought it from the
junkyard and sold it to Norris Haynes, who sold it to Barry LeVan 10 years
later.
