VIR - 1972 October SCCA Regional Races
"Two Flags Over VIR" 

Virginia International Raceway - October 14-15, 1972  

In August, IMSA cancelled its planned October 14-15 event at VIR, stating "…track damage from recent floods has made it impossible to conduct another professional racing event on the 3.2 mile track this year."

In spite of this, the NC and Washington SCCA regions put on a successful regional/enduro (with prize money) that same weekend.
